Clerics should be the free class. Not worthy of pay.

I'm playing a cleric using the immortal build, and I got to say. Clerics are super weak. All of the advanced skills don't seem to be very useful and being stuck with the holy mace from the Kingston seems..limiting for a class you have to pay for. I hear they are tanks. I don't see it. You have to spend so many points elsewhere that the dps and endurance really really suffer.

Clerics isn't weak, what can I say is they are more of a late bloomer. Maybe you struggle playing as a cleric because you're just at the beginning, you can appreciate the cleric if you're patient enough to grind gold and acquire advanced skills because clerics are great with passive skills lesser than a warrior but the real bonus is your heal and Arbenos' Might and also the Intervention skill. if you are using cleric that depends a lot in magic skills and mana usage you should join The Three and don't forget to always bring your companion, preferably Adaon or Grissenda.

Q:What do you call Level 20 Warrior?
A: Ready for the end of the game!

Q: What do you call a Level 20 Rogue?

Q: What do you call a Level 20 Cleric?
A: Hey, look you're almost ready for Lannegar Mine :D

There's a serious argument to be made that if a Cleric is too much of a "late bloomer" than they're just not able to compete with the other classes. However, there are several Cleric builds that do well. As a class, Cleric's just take a little more planning than a 2-H Warrior that kills first and dies with the Crown of Tol later.

I WOULD NOT recommend a Cleric as a first play through.

Me too, I wont recommend it simply because it is not for beginners. What I mean is you actually need to plan your skill development not just put trait point here and skill point there. It is complicated but enjoyable class once you get the hang of it.

I don't know how statistics is right now, but from what David shared so far, clerics (players who play cleric type character) are the best, the strongest and the toughest players. Statistically speaking, of course, not every and each of them.

Just to mention, David has access to some in-game statistics we don't have.

So, I wouldn't say they are super weak. I myself still didn't played cleric.

I like to disprove this but I can't man. I have to agree with this. I first played the game using a cleric on hard mode and I struggled super hard until I reached 20. If there's a scoreboard for the most number of deaths, I bet my cleric would easily reach top 1

Cleric is the 2nd class that dies less, the class that gains more XP per hour on average, and the class with more high level Ironman games.

While I agree it needs more stuff (and it constantly gets it on each update, and more on the next), that hardly makes a case for it being free vs paid, as real world money never grants survivability in Exiled Kingdoms, nor it will.

I have played all classes so far, including warriors in 2 version (2-hands or shield) and rogues (archer or assassin style, although I refuse to run for 5 minutes to reload Evasion, it's like cheating) and can tell you that the cleric is NOT weak at all.

It is strong, more durable than the rogue for sure and competes with the warrior about endurance and stamina, not to mention that that class makes an excellent use of traits as intelligence and charisma, while other classes have to "waste" points in those traits to have decent dialogue options.

Yet, my game with a 2-handed warrior and Hirge is BETTER than my game with a cleric and Grissenda re-trained as a 2-handed tank.

That's because there is not a fine balance among the cleric's skills yet but it is a work in progress. Plenty of discussion has been made already about the topic and several solutions have been proposed too.

I dont even take Hirge as a companion (save for completing a couple of quests), let alone PLAYING as a cleric...

So, if some of you guys are like me, simply dont play cleric at all, no reason to argue. I love playing archers, and I know most people hate it - its a matter of "taste", after all.

I love playing archer but i feel like they missing stuff sadly and i have a lvl 10 cleric i do not play i hate it i hate the fact how there is no natural mana regeberation like their should be as my archer im lvl 18 or 19 and i use hirge as my comoanion she focuses on healing me when i need and acts as a tank ^_^
