Currently in game, only clerics may join the Three (guild) and learn advanced skills. I assume this is due to warriors and rogues lacking magic capability.

What if joining the guild enabled a warrior or rogue to be able to wield limited magic. Since the only skills they would have that use mana would the advanced ones, it would be like enabling a warrior to chose the paladin life without giving him a better advantage than say a cleric joining the warrior's guild (could be argued that its the better choice for a cleric with current content).

Give them 1/2 the mana a cleric would have and however you want to nerf it so its not abusable, just another style of play. Not sure many warriors or rogues would make this choice, given the current cleric advanced skills, but at least its an option.

I don't quite follow, but I don't think retribution would do you any good, maybe turn undead would but it isn't even worth the investment for a cleric.

Advanced Cleric skills are the least useful at this point.

The inner chamber trainable advanced skills are all rather ineffective and questionable for advanced builds.

It is my only criticism to this point, but I could see certain encounters or dungeons where they could be useful, and since the game is not yet complete, I reserve judgement until the game is out of beta.

I completely agree with the underwhelming nature of the current cleric skills. The only reason my Cleric is part of the Three is in anticipation of future content (at some point they gotta get a non-fire based damage skill). No self-respecting warrior should pass on the WG.

But working with the assumption that Cleric advanced skills will get more diverse, I could see a warrior or rogue with limited magic use. Going even further into hypotheticals, when the Mage class comes out, will their Guild be Mages only, or will clerics be able to.

You start to get this pigeon hole feeling that each class is only meant to join its respective guild. If that's the intent, then the WG should be warriors only. Having some of the guilds open to all classes and some restricted seems awkward.

I think a viable solution is to have 2 outer advanced skills that would have some use for each class. Like the current warrior setup and an inner advanced set of skills that are only accessible to that class.

I don't think a cleric should be able to "join" any guild but a cleric guild. Perhaps different guilds based on reputation, like a good or evil guild.

Just my personal opinion

For instance...

Warrior Outer Guild Advanced Skills

Precision
Massive Critical

Warrior Inner Guild Advanced Skills

Shield Expert
Berserk

Rogue Outer Advanced Skills

Bowmanship
Dual Weild

Rogue Inner Advanced Skills

Perforate Artery
Rapid Fire

Cleric Outer Advanced Skills

First Aid
Blessing of The Three

Cleric Inner Advanced Skills

Raise Incapacitated
Regeneration

Wizard Outer Advanced Skills

Imbue Item (crafting)
Resistance

Wizard Inner Advanced Skills

Elemental Mastery
Illusionist

There should be a Trait requirement that is based on the Guilds main trait Warrior/Strength, Rogue/Agility, Cleric/Personality, Wizard/Intelligence to learn the advanced skills in the outer guild.

Something like this would make sense I believe.
