This is only the second cell phone game I have actually paid for, and it was well worth it. Excellent game. I think I encountered a bug in the Sewer of Horrors. I defeated the Carrion Lord, then a little later I died. I had to restart from the beginning of the Sewer level, before encountering the Carrion Lord. I actually died several times before defeating the Sewer. But, after I defeated the Carrion Lord the first time, then died later, I never saw the Carrion Lord again, and so I was never able to reap the treasure he dropped. When I loaded a saved game from before my encounter with the Carrion Lord, shouldn't the Carrion Lord be there again? Now my end game comment (no spoilers), after finishing the game I was left wondering "is that it"? I appreciate that we can still roam the world to finish any quest that might still be undone, but I was hoping someone, somewhere in the world would acknowledge the feat I had accomplished. I wanted more of a hero's welcome. Anyhow, great game.

1) If you died after Beating the Carrion lord and your save load was before fighting him, he *should* have been alive. Did you double check to make sure there wasn't an auto-save that occurred after beating him? Also, do you have a save file from a different save point (back-up, auto, duplicate, etc?). Often staying at a inn (map re-sets), solves most of the issues like a missing enemy, but that would save your file. Perhaps, save a back-up file in a different file spot and than stay at an inn and try again?

2) The game is done for the foreseeable future. The Developer has several public posts on the matter in the News and Announcements. In it's current state, the game has several spots were new content can be dove-tailed in, including the Lady of the Night story arc, the drama surrounding the Sewer of Horrors, a few unexplored map areas.

The Sewer of Horrors was added as a end-game dungeon of sorts. So once it's beaten, you pretty much are done for the game. As for for the in-game nature of the victory. The leaders of Icemyst swept the problem under the rug, rewarding your for cleaning out the sewars would admit they covered up a pretty bad problem.

1.) I don't believe there is any way at all to save after encountering the Carrion Lord, except by descending to the next level. My saved game was just before going down the stairs to the dungeon in Icemist, and the auto save was right after I went down the stairs. Once I beat the Carrion Lord I went across to a room (I don't want to give spoilers here) that killed me post haste, and I had to revert to an earlier save so I could do a little shopping to get some stuff I needed to survive that room. There is no chance that I used an auto-save that was after I killed the Carrion Lord. The CL just vanished after I beat him once. I think his feelings were hurt. I was using an Android, Google Pixel 2 XL if that helps any.

2. I remember back to one of the first Ultima games, where once the game was beat, soldiers would escort me back to the king where he presented me with a medal. I appreciate games that add a little something like that at the end. On the other hand, I even more appreciate that the game doesn't just end and lets me wander around to finish quests or dungeons I didn't finish before. It was a great game, and my hat is off to The Developer.

That is odd, indeed. We'll keep a note of it in case it happens again.

A proper knighthood would be nice at end-of-game. Being a "knight" was an idea considered early in the game development. Knights of a certain kingdom would get discounts at merchants in that kingdom, access to special quests, and equipment. Didn't end up making it into the game.

I suspect this is a rare glitch that causes a creature to not spawn... it can happen with a trader or meaningless NPc in the area, but also with a more relevant one. I've never been able to reproduce it myself but players have reported it a few ocassions through these years, especially in areas with a lot of creatures. Other than that, indeed if you died and reloaded you'd see the Carrion Lord again. If you still keep a save and try again, I think it'll appear.

And regarding becoming a hero... well, it's intentional that nobody ever will know about the Forsaken, the Horror or what you did. Not even companions unless you told them (and Adaon will tease you about it being just fantasies).
