I had some kind of interaction with Nisor very early in the game. I think I escorted him to the colony? Anyway, I misunderstood the quest from Sheryl and kept going to the Deepburrow Cave, where the Undermother kept telling me I've come too soon. (I get that same complaint from my wife. *ba-dum-tiss!*)
I moved on, and quite by accident discovered the Rhonata Cave when I was already level 10 and easily defeated the druid there. Then a message briefly appeared on my screen about A Wild Mystery, which I had not heard of before. I looked in my journal but there's no such quest. So I looked around here and discovered that I was supposed to smash the nest in the circle of trees twice, talk to Sheryl to complete the Hunting Bugs! quest, then talk to Nisor.
I went back to the colony and did that, and sure enough Sheryl told me to talk to Nisor, but now when I talk to Nisor, he just says "Hello Again. Safe hunting." I tried talking to the Undermother again, but she continues to shrug me off.
Have I blown the A Wild Mystery quest by doing things out of order?
