Can't get mages guild rep high enough to start barahids quest?

Is there some secret way of getting your rep with the mages guild high enough to get barahids quest?
I've already done the 3 other quests for the guild but my rep is only at 6, and barahids quest requires 8. Is there some quest I'm missing to bring my rep higher?

Thanks, I'll check it again.
Last couple of times I've tried pulling up the quest page on the wiki its given me a connection refused error.
I'll keep on trying, hopefully it'll come up haha

In theory completing the quests from all other 3 towers should be enough, as Barahid requires a mere 8 in guild reputation. Are you on version 1.0? The requisite was 10 in version 0.9 and some people missing "A fair deal" quest were left out, but I lowered it.

EDIT: if you had an INT of 0 when completed "Outstanding apprentice" and missed the extra reputation, and also missed "A fair deal", you get stuck at a maximum of 7 reputation and can't get this quest. The good news is there will be more ways to earn Wizard's Guild reputation in 1.1 so eventually it will unlock for you.

Ah, that explains it actually. I missed a fair deal and that int check so that explains why I'm stuck at 6 rep.

yes it will be kind of vague but still some value is better than no value

PS: is this the first time you changed ur display pic? at least in past 2 yrs i guess
it is closer to the game icon and hope there will more stuff for mins
