cant do "mad wizard" q

I read u need the thief abaon to get the q but he robbed me and so i wanted to kill them but i cant did it. So i let them in his cage.
I play this game for a week and complete all q but i cant get the "mad wizard" q now cause i cant go back and save abaon.

Well, if you let him rot, you let him rot...

But David has said he'll make him escape by himself in a future update, I think. Still in this game, probably you'll have to choose paths that will have no way back.
