Bug? - Supply cost is N+1 party members

OK, so maybe I'm tripping; but I swear the last time I played the number of supplies consumed was the same as the number of party members. Did something change?

Started a new game and the first camp was costing 5. After I rescued Capn. "Last update gave survivors dignity rags but not me" the rest cost went up to six supplies

Minotaurs use 2 supplies... you can check it by hovering over the race.
