Blunt, Slashing, and Piercing damage?

Any chance you will implement this as damage resistance? Trying to kill a skeleton with a rapier would not work very well. Same with trying to kill a troll with a hammer, as you let loose few days ago, they don't have bones or organs just cursed flesh. I know it might be a bit difficult with this type of game.

As a possible way to avoid coding headaches, slashing, piercing, and bashing could be weapon traits (stuff in blue like vicious or orc slayer).

Then just follow your idea where piercing adds damage to one type but takes away from others.

So a 'Bashing 1' hammer would add +2 points of damage to skeletons, -1 point to trolls.

Hidden vulnerabilities would be another simple way to implement it. But it also requires recoding every monster in the game.
