Forsaken Fortress Giants is not a thing non-Beta testers should be hearing about.

I know the moderators have locked the threads but the topic titles remain. I have put the individual on Ignore so nothing more of their existence here will ever intersect with me again, but I ask from hereonin if moderators close such threads to also remove all detail from the topic title however innoculous.

I debated Beta testing, but I'd like to play through a final candidate and I'd like to do that without any further hints as to content.

I know I could simply avoid the forum for the next few weeks but I'd still like to be of use as a Loreseeker.

The Forum Rules offer guidance on this issue.

Rule 1 states "It is only a spoiler if it's actually some important twist or revelation, or a puzzle solution." (emphasis in original.) Thus, an enemy's name is not likely ever going to be an actual spoiler.

Rule 4 states: "Use informative titles for topics." Thus, a post discussing an issue with a certain enemy can reasonable have the enemy's name in the tittle.

Given the herding cats nature of a large, global forum, there's going to be some spill over from the beta thread. Moderators, including myself, are trying to keep it reasonably tidy and organized. But, perfection is not a reasonable standard.

It's worthwhile to keep in mind that deleting beta posts from new forum users may be misunderstood. They might not realize the beta content issue. So an abrupt deletion, or heavy edit of their good faith post might come off as jerkish, gate keeping or unwelcoming. And that's not okay. We want people to feel invited to play the game and welcome on the forum.

So, your goal to move forward "..without any further hints as to content... " might be difficult to meet on the forum. It might be unrealistic.

I can try to be more mindful about beta content being mentioned in thread tittles but no promises there won't be some beta content here and there.

Feel encouraged to keep using the forum.

Kind Regards

I love the little twists in the game and I've always gone out of my way to keep them unspoiled, but it's a delicate balance; just deleting or editing stuff right away can be felt as very agressive moderation.

Current Beta is pretty much ready for release. Maybe some minor fixes will happen, or small adjustments, but nothing noteworthy. Still I'll wait a cautionary period of a couple weeks since the last bug is fixed, so probably it won't be released until the end of the month.
