Not just is the name still misspelled (As discussed here), but now it has lost the ability to cast Grasp of Agony.
I found it strange that it wasn't casting spells at me even though it was in range, and when investigating it seems that it doesn't have any spells anymore.
There was nothing about it being removed in the patch notes, and I also don't think that it is needed to remove it.
