Resistance values are explained in depth in the Wiki.

A Resistance value of 210 gives you 100% resistance

Given rounding, and attack size, you should be in really good shape around 150

Demon Lord / Fire Demons do: +22 Fire damage
Fire Elementals do: +10 Fire Damage.
And the floor does what, 6 to 10, fire damage?
(I can't remember what the constant damage is from just being in the area).

Rather Common:
Greater Ring of Flames, Ruined Dragoon Boots, Greater Potion of Resist Fire
Total: 30(x2) + 30 + 40 = 130.

Unique But Easy:
Vorator Hide Mantle
Total: 20

Unique / Might Not Be For You:
Flame Pendant, Brother Ladan's Holy Symbol, Shield of the Dragon Hunter, Greater Red Orb, Ashen Chestplate, Leggings of Shadows, etc

So using a pretty basci combination of the above, getting 150 to 200 fire resistance isn't too hard.

Keep in mind you're going to be taking a lot of physical damage from demons and the lord of the pit, so even with max resistence, you'll be drinking healing items pretty fast.

someone here know how many points of Fire resistance i need to receive 0 damage on the elemental plane of Fire?

If memory serves it's 255? Something like that. Any resistance that goes that high grants you immunity

I dont know if I am necro-ing this thread, but @Kakost while reading through the Shaman build, I noticed that getting AWA2 is essential if I can pass the gas trap to help Hirge at the earliest. Option otherwise is to take Aadon which no one in their right minds would want to at this stage. So, should getting AWA to 2 be updated earlier?

The build depends on the players play style also depends on the players decisions. My build is mixed I do like having gate on cleric I don't like spending my gold on teleportation scolls.

It's only 2 skill points, but once gold becomes meaningless - you have your houses and you can grind huge stacks in a short while - it might be better to respec and just buy a massive stack of Teleport scrolls. You can then put those points on something you can't purchase...

I feel that way about health potions, they feel like cheating the game out of a fight. I'm OK with found ones, or making ones that take effort such as Epic Omelette, Lesser Restoration or Whitetower Special.

I learned to love the potions, I use them like there's no tomorrow.

But yes, it makes the game seems almost banal, it turns IM into "pretty easy"

I do buy stacks of Recall scrolls, but if I buy Teleport scrolls I'll only buy a very few and use them sparingly.

I'm like that.
