Ashen leggings

Are the ashen leggings super rare drop or does the rng just hate me I have gone through the sunken citadel a couple dozen times and have test to get one.

Why not both? It's a rare drop and the Random drop hates you

While the random drop can produce odd results, I'm a bit surprised you haven't found a pair after a few runs. Are you clearing all the chests and all the enemies? Stick with it, and they'll drop.

I am killing everything and looking the chests then I leave go to the crimson hills for apples and I rinse and repeat. Yeah rng is not being kind with the ashen leggings. I have gotten the other two several times though lol.

Given that there are 5 chests in Sunken Citadel that drop it with a few percent chance, you should have one with high probability after about 40 runs. Unless, of course, rng REALLY hates you.

If you really want those nice leggings, then hunting ashen warlords is the best thing you can do imo. Leggings of shadows are quite good too

Of course now that I got one they start dropping more often got two in a single run the next time. Oh rng you strange power you lol

Truer words were never spoken.
The sometimes odd results of random drops has been a subject of many threads, including a few pointing out how even modestly rare drops could be difficult for some unlucky players. Randomness is unpredictable, or it's not random

Indeed it is always the oddest aspect of any game. A randomness that isn’t truest random just an algorithm

Never had trouble getting the ashen leggings. But my very first character I got the ring of unlife from my first two dead Lich. Only 1 since with 3 characters finishing the Ark. Over 20 Lich dead!!!
