Android cloud save issue

Hey,

Been using the cloud save option for the last few weeks and it's been working perfectly. Got an error 8 last week and every time I try since then I get an error 1:



Any idea what's going wrong?

Do you use multiple Google accounts (gmail)?

Try to log out from all accounts, then log in the one you used to save game. It may help.

Nope, just a single Google account. Same one as I've always used.

Try to clear your cache and data from google play services, unfortunately there's little I can do with google cloud errors...

You still could try logging out and in afterwards. If clearing cache and data doesn't help. You also could try with rebooting your device.

Thanks for the responses. Cleared data and cache for play services and rebooted but still not working.

Is there any debug or logging options in the app that would identify the exact error or is that single digit code all that's returned from the request?

I am afraid all the game gets is the error from the service, which is happening at the time of authentication with your gamer id. I would try uninstalling google play games app from your device, or even creating a new gamer id, but unfortunately there's little I can do besides providing this "generic" advice.

To keep your games safe you can always trust the export to file, which is fully under the game's control.
