hey Guys,

hailing from Brazil, been playing EK for a couple weeks, loving the game and how it captures correctly the old school RPG feel as many have failed to in the game industry on the latest years.

Running a Cleric lvl 10 (almost 11). My doubt is:

Does Heavy Hand stack with Duel? I've put a point on Duel, should I keep points to furtherly improve it or put also 1 on Heavyhand?

Thx!!!

They stack together very well. Duel needs to be level 2 to be worthwhile. Heavy Hand is good from the start. As a newer player, I'd go with two levels of each for a good melee setup.

Duel's main use is killing tough opponents and bosses. Heavy Hand helps you kill the weaklings. Together they're very synergistic for killing everything.

Thx a lot for your time, dude.

I got the impression that Heavy Hand outscaled Duel as it has no limit to the +1 procs... but then I put a point in Duel anyways as it felt safer beforehand.

I'll keep adding to both ,then.

I have all four Warrior special skills maxed out on one of my characters, and they stack so incredibly well I'm like a combine harvester of death, able to obliterate both groups of high level monsters and individuals alike. From memory, the only things that don't stack are trait modifiers on gear and the temporary XP modifiers from scrolls of wisdom.

Combine the special skills with other warrior skills like Cleave and Whirlwind and you can really deal out some serious damage :D

Thx man!

I'm actually running a Cleric which will still deal massive damage with arbeno's might... but I am looking forward to building a warrior as well as it seems to be the best mob crusher in the game...

The power of a Cleric with WG skills is so much fun. Stack all the WG skills with AB might to compensate for the weaker Cleric weapon options plus you can heal and detect wo comp help. Me and gris just go to work...

Oh yeah, I use Gris as a companion, too. I'm making her quite tanky but to be honest she does deal some damage as well...

Right now I've got 1 lvl on Duel and 1 lvl on Heavyhand. Which one should I look to max first? Heavyhand seems stronger as it procs +3 dmg per hit on lvl 2...

Does Heavyhand have a max stack for this additional damage?

They both need to be maxed in the end game, so it's a matter two questions:

Are you killing regular mobs easily? If not, go Heavy Hand.
Are you having a hard time killing tougher opponents? If not, go Duel.

Oh yeah, sure, you had answered that before, srry for bothering!

I was just confused as I thought Heavyhand procs scaled like Duel, but now I realize one fits short term fights while the other fits long term fights... and both together are just absolute destruction.

Thx a lot everyone.
