Adoan's quest boss drop

So I finished Adaon's quest for the advanced skills but wondered about the drops.

The Ursan King was a tough fight for a level 20 mage (sniper/staff crit build) but after a few tries I got him down. He only dropped a ancient tome and I think a potion.. is that what everyone else is getting? I guess I was expecting a unique weapon considering his level and difficulty.

I got the same drops as you, pretty much. I killed the boss a few times and that was what I got every time, plus a scroll of restoration.

The real rewards are at the end of the quest so I guess you can treat the dude as an extra rumour boss.

Why do you think he's Adaons boss?

I agree about the drop, but he is not important for the quest. I spend several tries to kill him when I first tried the quest, the second run I just let him go

Not sure why he is there but he is completely unimportant for the quest. Also the big drop of the quest comes at the end in the chest :lol:

Why do you think he's Adaons boss?

Because he's by far the hardest mob in the dungeon and has "King" in his name lol. I just expected him to have a good piece of gear since all the other King mobs had something.

I fully agree about the drop. But he doesn't belong to the Adaon Quest.

I have no idea why he's there, maybe as a trap. He is really strong, took me several tries to finish him and the drop is absolutely a joke. And if he gives shards, he's way too strong for a mid-lvl character

Easy for Rogues, a little hard for Warriors, harder for Mages and hardest or mediocre for Cleric (depending on the build).

If you use a death weapon it works really fast. It took me a while to get that

Yes, Ursans are vulnerable to Death damage since the latest update.
