Accidentally killed an history important npc

I was in fogas forest and "accidentally" lured all tigers and witches and vangeful wraiths into the city, and they killed off all npcs and I still didn't finish abbey... i reverted the experiment with a quick save and left wondering what implications killing an history npc has

It probably shouldn't happen... but if it is a thing that can happen then you would of been screwed with those quests

As far as i know, they don't technically "die", or at least not permnently. I brought trolls to Rhöneis one time and a guard died. She's back now, so I don't think there are any permanent consequences.
