Why the Undermother disappears when I leave the cave? I want to fight her but I don't have the proper equipment and companion to do it so I left when I came back she's no longer there. Is this a feature or a bug?

she gives you a quest (Prodigal Daughter). if you complete it the way that she wants you to, she leaves. If you complete it the way that someone else wants you to, you end up fighting her (but in some circumstances, she will be very weakened, and you can fight her successfully a long time before you might try it otherwise).

If you haven't completed the quest, I don't think she leaves.

Mm, it looks like a bug. I mean, did you fight her but she killed you and you loaded game, or did you fight her, saw you couldn't and escaped? In either case, load game
