About the dead god quest.

I'm not a cleric but the npc named "Bishop Bareid" dies if you give the Broken Crown of Tol to him. He teaches two advanced Cleric skills so does that mean you are permanently locked out of getting those skills if you don't grab them beforehand?
Just curious.

Ahh, that explains why two people teach the same advanced skills. Haven't gotten my cleric build that far yet, having fun with my ranged rogue.
