Yes, go for assassinate, it boosts dps a ton, even at stab 3, just go on and invest in assassinate 2 first, then extra recovery if you need it or invisibility (for sneaking ambushes) and sneak attack (for boss fights), then get assassinate 3, and don't forget about sonnet for those high level undead bosses.

It is so powerful when solo boss. imagine it procs at least 3 times in battle with boss
