Thats strange, I don't think there were ever gates covering access to these areas...]

Have you completed 'The Cursed Abbey'? I'm almost entirely sure there were never gates blocking access to these areas and shouldn't be?

Could you take screenshots and share them here to show what's going on...

Okay I've no idea. I haven't been exploring this area long, I just completed 'The Cursed Abbey' and finished writing the quest guide on the wiki today.
I am 100% sure you are meant to have open access to these areas, especially the Hellish Cave where there are important monsters to fight..
Someone help...

Those grates are closed when the quest hasn't been initiated. Make sure you get the quest in Fögas

Been stuck on that for a few days. Very stressful dungeon to wander around in.

Thanks for the help and big thanks for the game.

Have you been able to get past them?
I too had the same thing happen. After I went back and accepted it, the gates were still up. I had also talked to Admus prior and he's still hanging out by his statue.
:(
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

Mod Note: Locking thread.

It's nice to help other forum users, but responding to an Aug. 2017 post in Mar. 2018 is a bit of a re-float. Refer to Forum Rules. Again, it's great you wanted to help out another forum user.
