Hi David, first and foremost, THANK YOU for this awesome game! I loved it since I first played, I immediately paid for the full version and I am still draining my phone battery day after day, trying to grind up for missions I am too low-level for... :D
It's a good, solid GDR, very well designed and full of advanced features, easy to control even on a touchscreen and rich of settings and adventures... what more could you ask for??

Well, yes, maybe one thing I might ask for ;) Every time I die (that means about 30 or 40 times a day) the game comes up with a window saying it needs Google Play Games for leaderboards and online scores. I had Google Play Games installed on my phone when I bought it, but I uninstalled it at once; the lesser nosy processes Big G puts on my phone, the better for me. Anyway, I don't use online features like leaderboards or objectives,so I'd like to ask: would it be possible to add an option to disable online features, or a checkbox with "don't ask again"? :)

Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Hello, you are welcome.

I was unaware of this, because those prompts are handled mostly by Google when I check for them in code. but I think I can prevent it from happening, and this might even be behind some users having a crash after dying. thanks for pointing it out.

Actually, I just uninstalled Google Play Games and died and I wasn't prompted about anything. Can you confirm me you are on the latest version of the game, and if you don't have Google Games installed (even if it's an old, preinstalled version)?

If possible, a screenshot of that prompt you get would also help.

Moved to support

Yes, it's BETA 0.7.925; I checked the updates this morning and I was on the latest version.
I am attaching two screenshots I took at very close times as soon as I died. If I correctly remember, the "google games" thing started one day when I was looking around in settings and tried checking the leaderboards or something like that. Not surprising, as they seem to be managed by it.

Well, you have GPGS set to off so... I am not entirely sure why it is happening, it shouldn't. Looking into it.

Er... what is GSPS? Is it the joypad function? It is OFF on my phone, but it is ON in another Android device (a Rikomagic MkIV connected to my TV). Might it mean something?

google play games services. Your profile linked to scoreboards, achievements, etc. Yes, the switch on top left. Being off, it should never bring dialogues like the one you're seeing....

Ah, OK. I will try switching it off on the other device, to see if that changes something... (I thought it was there to allow joypad control in game  )

OK, I managed to reproduce the behaviour on the other device, too (GPGS was "on" there, yet turning it off had no result). I will list the steps I took.

- Opened game on my Rikomagic, disabled GPGS, clicked on "The Library -> Disconnect".
- Closed game, uninstalled Google Games.
- Opened game, played, died, no Google Games screen popping out.
- Reopened game, went on "The Library -> Connect", got screen asking for Google Games.

Since then, every time I launch the game, and every time I die, I receive the screen asking to install Google Games.
