71/76 quests.... what am I missing??

My stats tell me that I've completed 71/76 quests... and I have 4 listed as unfinished (the three uncompletable ones plus, oddly, Exotic Subtstances, which I actually did complete already, but it's not marked as completed; I got the jungle boots and everything already, must be a bug.)

So that brings me to 75 triggered quests, but there are 76 in the game so far? I compared my character's list with the Wiki list and can't find out which quest is missing.

1) The woman who gives you the Jungle Boots, have you talked to her in Freetown, inside the Thieves Guild? She prompts you to meet her there when you get the boots.

2) You're likely missing one of the minor side-quests but there's a small list of them so you might need to go over to the Wiki and do a check. Common one's missed are: A Fair Deal (must complete it before triggering A Mad Wizard), Dubious Poetry (must find the letters first), Where is Giles (must talk to quest giver with high enough Reputation).

Now I'm really confused... I printed out the quest list from the Wiki and marked off each quest that my stats sheet says I did or have in progress... all of them are marked off, but I only have those 4 uncompleted quests I mentioned! Where's the fifth? Is this maybe a bug?

This has happened to me as well. There are some quests that you can fail, sending them to the "completed quests" tab on your journal, but they don't add to the tally on your stats since you didn't really complete them. For me, the usual culprit is forgetting to complete "A Fair Deal" before angering the wizard, rendering the quest incompletable - for some of my characters my journal reads "Jarod the Wizard no longer trusts me because of Adaon, so I couldn't finish the deal with him". Those characters show 71/76 quests complete while the characters for which I successfully completed "A Fair Deal" show 72/76.
