+10 rep with Golden Hand

I'm on iron man and I just accidentally finished the Spicing Things Up quest in favor of Fritha. I was going to go for +10 rep with the Golden Hand but now I can't. Does anyone know if it does anything, maybe open the staircase to the left in the Grey Library? Thanks.

As far as I know nope.

I tried different options, also gave the tolans to Golden hand. The only thing you get is free entrance to the Grey library without a fight

I'm stuck on the quest "Lost on a good book", cuz I can't enter the grey library, given my zero reputation with the GH (Golden Hand)... For what I know, my only chance of raising the rep would be by giving them the fourth book, but my diary remembers me that I've found three of them, and unfortunately I barely remember I gave one ( or two) of those tomes to the Lore Seekers... And, after looking around for weeks (real weeks, not game weeks!!!!), I gave up and took a look on the wiki, and guess what??? The fourth book is INSIDE the grey library!!!!
If this is true (about lacking ways to raise rep with GH), I sincerely hope that David manage to give players, on a next update, a chance to raise rep with the GH, because one (like me) may not only lose a chance to finish " lost in a good book", but also lose a tolassian tome...
I know that the player has the option to break thru the grey library by force, but losing 40 rep with the GH is a price that is way too high to pay...

You can complete the quest... It was designed from the beginning to befriend one of the faction and make the other mad at you. It might be possible to do it the exact way that allows to keep both of them high, but that's not something that must be guaranteed. So, you know, just walk in and...

Yeah, I know this right-or-left approach (I am always strugling trying to raise my rep with Freetown while keeping good rep with the varannaari, for exemple). This is what makes RPG fun.
I just felt a little cheated by not being able to know, beforehand, that there would be NO MORE options to raise rep with golden hand, not even by one point...
Well, lets move on... Sigh...
(But I will delay this break-thru the more I can, because, well... who knows if there is still something to do for the GH that I am not still aware of - or maybe on a future update, huh?)
