Most werewolves have no to low resistance to fire, so pure elemental wands/staffs can do well. Note, Mages can also have a Companion, and a Summon to help.

Soon after Arcane Blade was added, the melee mage builds were explored in depth, including the Zero / Low INT builds (playfully called Grunk builds). Note, that re-setting a character in the late game is very different from needing to play the build from scracth.

That's a good use of Sacred Fire. Arbenos' Might is an increidble skill for Clerics. +7 damage for 2 mana. Can't beat it. Also really helps with trolls.
