Thanks for sharing the solution. Can you walk us through the process in more detail just in case there's another hiccup?

Having the same problem with another game I got a more specific detail about the error:

Exception in thread "LWJGL Application" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.lwjgl.Sys

I don't know if this can help in something, the only way that work for me is using the Windows Restore Tool to refresh my windows and local files, and that woks.
