 It would be great if we could bring 2 or more of the main-companions with us, and not the one at a time currently in game. Right now, you can take one, and then pay a basic companion to join you. The basic one seems doomed to die. Is there any way to change that so that we can take more than one main at a time? Thank you, LOVE this game (ios)

Not likely.

Mercenaries go way back to the very early stages of the beta. At one time, they seemed like a good idea, and there are times when they serve a minor chew-toy purpose (mainly when fighting a hard enemy that's easily reached). But for the most part, mercenaries aren't worth the gold you pay.

Some escort missions, the merecenaries are useful to help keep damage away from fragile NPC's. Someone really needs to teach a certain diamond dealer to hide BEHIND the warrior... anyways..... short answer, not likely ever to happen.

I hope one day mods make it possible.
I alreafy completed this game 3 times but shure would do a 4th run if I could use all 3 companions at once.

Well, with mage you can have pretty powerful summoned creature, it is not second companion, but it is very powerful combo.

Having all possible options, you can have party of five at maximum:

a) You
b) Companion
c) Summoned elemental (or summoned creature from spell)
d) Mercenary
e) In some quests you get someone to escort somewhere, i.e. one more fighter within party.

Also, I listed this by easiness and usefulness, so it is not that hard to have company of four, or three (as mercenaries aren't that good for higher levels).

The main problem with this would be balans. It would be way too easy if you have two companions. Having Gris as tank and Hirge behind her with heals would clear dungeons without you even needing to do anything yourself. And if you add Adaon too then nothing in this world can stand a chance.

While it would be fun to have this immortal mini army for a bit, in the end it would remove the difficulty of the game and make it boring. Certainly if you are a mage and add a summon to it to get an even bigger group.

Personally, I think it'd be a good option to have two companions max at least with the casual difficulty. For people like myself who are inexperienced with these types of games, it'd provide an opportunity to help us to get used to the game and how it works. Allowing us to be better prepared for a second playthrough.
(I apologize if my grammar and punctuation are lacking.)

I'd say the best would be to allow the Mercenary level up and swap Equipment, but if they die then goodbye fellow Adventurer, still would be able to loot off their body's, just a suggestion to help give them footing I'd Hope to Believe!
