Player Weapon/Armor Ideas

Hey there guys! Tikibane here...

I thought a thread for armor or weapon ideas would be a wonderful idea and decided to start one in the hopes that maybe the developer would see some of the ideas and implement them. :D

When you put these together please use detail and creativity!

Names and Lore would be a wonderful addition to the weapons, maybe even a cute quip like you see in the game itself.

Things such as damage, speed and effects on the weapons would be a welcome bonus in the explanation...

This one could be an item for a funny quest where a guy who really has two left hands ( or is the clumsiest Guy ever) ask you to teach him how to fight with a sword. But no matter what you try, you can't teach him anything without him hurting himself or breaking stuffs. The only way to succeed is to bring him this sword. But the thing is, nothing or no one in the game tells you about that sword ( except maybe for the Guy himself saying something vague after each failure, like ' if only i had a better\more appropriate sword' ), you have to find it by chance and do the math yourself. The reward could be a really good weapon that the guy had in his family and could never use, or a trait\skill book.

Random shoot
Damages 15-15

Well all is said here. The strongest bow, but it shoots each time in a random direction...


The Poltergeist

Targets hit by this bow will attack other mobs for a limited time. There can also be a restriction on level/race of the foe. (Works only on undead for instance)


I did say they were weird weapons. They also might be difficult/impossible to implement... But i had fun imagining them :D

It is time for next high lightning (shock) resistance helm.

As time goes, I found (finally or at last :oops: ) golden apples tree (quest with golden apples I solved without it, only with apples found in stashes - it is possible too, only a bit longer).

In one of last fights with rumor bosses I got Ring of Unlife - but as it is not possible to wear it together with Tiara of the Heavens (not fully, it is possible to wear them together, but you don't get full trait bonus), it is time for next helm with shock resistance.

Use one and have a nice animation too!
Only they drop a bow when killed...
So.. A crossbow a bit slower than a bow a bit longer ranged and hits harder.
Pleaaaaase! :cool:

What about advanced version of Sacrificial Dagger? Now there is no actual anti-undead light weapon (dagger/shortsword/hammer)...
To improve there can be following characteristics: dmg 4-10, speed 13, crit 7 (standart for present high level daggers), but new attributes: Holy 3 or Holy 2 + Silver.
As an example, you can add a new quest from the Three faction, after which as a reward can be obtained described dagger (let's say, Sacred Dagger). Or just another loot for rumor bosses...

A quick question

In the recent update, a lot of new equipment has been introduced. Any idea, out of this 10+ pages how many items have been picked/inspired?

Not sure if this has been proposed, but a very light melee (speed 12-13) weapon with only fair damage but very high critical chance. This would be fun for agility based warriors with maxed out critical skills and flurry.

2-hander with the innate ability to cleave multiple targets for clerics, or a chance to double-strike targets.

offhand with the ability to cut incoming healing of a target by a percentage.

bow that applies that slowing effect which is relatively unattractive on Toecutter, but would be amazing for ranged if the proc percentage of Slow was raised.

dagger with a chance to refresh cd of stealth or smoke bomb on kill.

shield that reflects a small amount of damage to incoming enemies (especially viable for rogue/cleric, more so rogue due to general lack of aoe).

quivers for bows that augment elemental/physical damage or confer some sort of utility i.e. a much anticipated/coveted splitting arrow type effect.

2-hander with a chance to proc a whirlwind type effect.

2-hander
with an effect like fury, but instead raises attack speed as health gradually lowers as opposed to attack damage.

one hander (not light) that increases critical strike damage by 50% or so.

set items would be interesting, i.e. one hander and dirk that increase crit/attack speed when wielding both, armor set that increases elemental damage by a percentage, etc.

Why do we all need more and more gear everytime a new update arrives...... introduce upgrade or combine imbeu.... to make the current gear better for a good amount of cash + items you need to retrieve to get the upgrade requierments....

If you introduce this... you almost never have to come with new gear...
