Where does Grissenda go?

When I dismiss Grissenda, she says she's going back to her home in Kingsbridge. She disappears, even if I'm in Kingsbridge. How do I get her back?
UPDATE: Okay, that's weird. If I switch regions alone, she's still gone. If I have Adaon with me, she's back.

Sleep at inn, she should spawn near the potion trader

Seems that a lot of gamers are confused with disapearing companions after disbanding them. Maybe a little notification on the disbanding screen that you have to sleep at the inn for respawning your companion would help?
