The skill “Infantry Training” says it has the ability to negate critical hits. Now by “negate”, does that mean convert to zero damage, or convert to regular damage? Sorry if this has been asked for before, but the cost of respec is costly and looking up infantry training gives me no answers. Thanks again in advance!

That's a great question. I want to say it would cancel out all the damage from a critical hit, but as you read it, it could mean just negating the critical hit damage ....

This might be a question that someone with more in depth knowledge of the game mechanics needs to answer.

Any one have a lot of in-game experience with their combat log on this skill?

Just test it yourself, fight a boss and look at the log. Would be interesting, I think it only cancel the additional damage, but I'm not sure. I don't have any character left to test it, my last one I deleted for Ironman Archer.

I tested it few minutes ago and it just converts critical to normal.
