Stab on bows

Stab just says it increases damage, does it work with bows or just melee weapons

only for melee weapons. the stab skill will be unavailable for use upon switching to ranged.

Okay, I get it. The skill description doesn't spell out exactly that it's for melee weapons only so I have to admit it's not a horrible question but... c'mon people. It's called STAB, ya'know the thing you do with pointing things in your hand....

Also, the game would be horribly unbalanced if you could use stab on bows.

Now, I'm going to drink some friguld rum, 'cause I know someone is going to ask why epic omelettes don't stack.

Feel encouraged to post your questions. As long as you're asking in good faith, you'll find the forum supportive. If anything, getting the odd question can help lead to improvements to in-game descriptions. Chances are if you have a question, likely lots of players have the same question.

Just keep in mind that forum moderators and the wiki editors have a rivalry over who can drink the most friguld rum and confuse the most players. Well not really, but it seems like that sometimes (and it would explain a certain gross wiki error about the wraiths at the Mercian Crypt).
