Content and world changes/additions

-New area, Crimson Hills (and other minor maps). Several new monsters and items.
-2 new quests (started at Freetown and New Garand's Great Library).
-You can buy a house in New Garand (talk to the Governor). Your companions will also spawn there (in addition of their usual spawn points).


Features and enhancements

-The game can now be moved to external storage (SD card). If this causes any issues, please move back to internal memory.
-Companion orders: talk to your companions and tell them you have some Battle Orders for them. You can now adjust their aggro range, tell them to never attack, or order them to wait/follow.
-Hirge will now heal wounded party members when out of combat, or when ordered not to fight.


Bugfixes

-NPCs (including Adaon) will now properly use kick when wielding a bow.
-Solved a bug that sometimes caused companions to recover with an empty lifebar.
-Player can now be properly flanked by enemies. Beware!
-Solved many errors in the Spanish translations, including the Town Hall quests in journal and several dialogues.
-Many minor fixes and optimizations.


Balance and adjustments

-Warrior skill "Resilience" improved. Cooldown reduced from 60 to 35 seconds, and armor gain increased on second and third level.
-Level 9+ enemies now give increased experience, progressively.

Content and world changes/additions

-Free License expanded, added Kingsbridge, New Garand Farmlands, and several dungeons. Level cap increased to 5.
-Mercia and Ilmara have their own separate pool of Town Hall quests now. Beware, some of the Mercian quests will hurt your reputation with other factions.
-Available Town Hall quests increased from 82 to 137.
-New dungeon near Freetown, with a quest. Recommended for level 14+
-New random encounters on the roads.


Features and enhancements

-Pay fine: if your reputation with a kingdom or town is below -5 (but not below -20), you can pay gold at the Town Hall to improve it.
-Town Halls now properly display how they calculate reputation, when it is the average of two different factions.
-You can now save your game at your house.
-New compression: game size reduced by 12Mb, and loading times are now faster.
-The button to talk to your companion will now appear more to the left of other conversations, to reduce accidental tapping on it.
-Donations are now repeatable.


Bugfixes

-Fixed a crash that could happen when talking to Hirge in your house.
-Fixed an AI bug that could freeze enemies after they fought another NPC on the screen edge.
-Fixed a bug that sometimes made the player appear behind walls and obstacles.
-Companions will now correctly recover with 50% health.
-Some ground items that were wrongly being drawed over the player have been fixed.
-Many lesser bugfixes and crashfixes.
-Over 50 small typos/grammar mistakes fixed.


Balance and adjustments

-XP reward for completing Town Hall Quests increased (+45%). Some of them will be available at a minimum level, and the enemies now have a level cap.
-On "Casual" difficulty, regeneration cap has been increased from 35hp to 50hp.
-Cleric skill "Arbenos' Might" now costs less mana and has its duration increased by 50%
-Potions of speed and invisibility now have a shorter duration.
-Drop rate of scrolls increased, but price in shops increased as well.
-Giants and Dragons are now immune to pushback.
-If you push your companion into a trap, you'll get hurt too. Remember, companions also have families.

Fixes:

-Major performance optimization and improved battery saving.
-Fixed the "Pay fine" option in Town Halls.
-Various minor fixes related to small map errors or rare crashes.

Adjustments:

-Cleric skill "Holy Shield" now has its duration doubled and mana cost reduced.
-Level 2 of the skill "Extra Recovery" has its cost reduced from 5 to 3. If you learned it, you'll get 2 points refunded.

Content and world changes/additions

-The largest update ever: 8 new areas added including the town of New Anthur and surroundings. Content ranges between levels 8-16.
-5 new quests, leading you to unexpected situations. Plenty of people to meet, awful puns to raise your eyebrow at, and unique places to explore.
-Over 20 new items, some of them with new powers. But beware the new monsters and unique challenges!


Balance and adjustments

-Intellect now gives a bonus to XP gained, +2% per point.
-New items with "Wisdom" attribute can also grant an XP bonus.
-Certain scrolls, and altars of The Three can provide a temporary bonus to XP gained.
-Altars of The Three can now be used by clerics to restore a little mana each day.
-The price of early armor sets in shops has been reduced drastically: hardened leather, chain, forest chain, blessed chain, plate.
-Stun and paralization will now interrupt spellcasting, preventing using potions and scrolls. Beware!
-"Bane" weapons like Orcslayer, Holy, Beastslayer, etc, now add +2 damage per rank (tap on the item property for details). Because of this, a few of them have been downgraded one rank (but they keep the same damage bonus as before) while others keep the old rank and now do more damage.
-The XP reward from almost all the quests has been increased.


Bugfixes

-Fixed a bug that could cause some enemies to stay frozen.
-Fixed a bug that could make autotargeting fail.
-solved several minor graphical glitches.
-Fixed a bug related to Arbenos' Might skill duration (now it will last longer)
-Several stability fixes and enhancements added.
-Companions shouldn't get stuck behing the player as frequently now.
-The game will properly be saved right after character creation; due to a bug, if you died in the "A forest Road" area you had to create a character again.


Features and improvements

-You can now restore backups automatically if they are in the android Downloads folder, in addition to the old location.
-On Continue Game screen, you are informed about the possibility of reloading from your quicksave or from your autosave (last sleep). This possibility existed before, but many players missed it.
-Items with special properties will now give you the exact bonus they provide when tapping on the property.
-Idle companions will now aggro on enemies you attack, or when they attack you, even if they're not in range.

New Features

-Cloud Save (requires Google Play Games login). Save and Restore your games easily on all your devices. Access these options from the "Continue Game" or "New Game" menu. It does *not* automatically sync your data, you have to activate the option.


Bugfixes

-Fixed a map boundary in Mount Storme southeast corner.
-Google Play Log-in will not try to reconnect again after you exit the game being logged off.
-Fixed a crash in Eillara's final conversation when you had no companions.
-Warrior skill "Bash" will now stun your enemies longer, the duration was inferior than listed.
-NPC running out of mana will no longer spam a message.
-Over a dozen small typos fixed.


Adjustments

-The final encounter of "The World is a Stage" quest is now harder. The NPC aiding you is considerably weaker if you are low level.
-A few weapons have been improved (Sonnet, Poisonous Longbow)

Content and world changes/additions

-New areas: 1 new outdoor sector and 3 new dungeons including the Mausoleum in Deadwood. New guild halls in Freetown.
-4 new quests! find them in Freetown guild halls. This will also point you towards the new areas.
-Dragons, giants, and many more boss-monsters will now spawn at random hideouts through the world (level 11+ required). But be quick, and gossip around to learn their location before they are gone!
-Dozens of new items, including armor, weapons, and 5 new types of scrolls.
-8 new Advanced Sills available. The new trainers are in New Garand (Temple, Great Library) and in the new Freetown guild halls.


Features and improvements

-When you sell/buy/take/deposit stackable items, you can now select how many units.
-Vault quickbuttons added so you can switch between vaults quickly.
-Switch item position in vaults by tapping on one item, then on an empty slot of the vault (same as you can do with backpack)


Balance and Adjustments

-Maximum bumber of Advanced Skills per character raised to 8.
-More trait points per level for the player at high levels: 3 points/level from level 16 and onwards. If you already reached those levels, you'll get the extra points now.
-Rogue bonus to melee damage: gain +1 on level 1, then increases on levels 6,12,18 and 24.
-Rogue skill "Stab" improved. Rank 3 and 4 now does more damage and scales up better with level.
-Several items (in particular dragon loot) have been enhanced. A few items are now less powerful, but only for new drops (won't affect you if you already own the item).
-XP required to reach levels 21-25 now scales up more logically. It still progresses very slowly, as level 20 is considered the "soft cap" at which you can face all the end-game challenges.
-XP from disabling traps has been adjusted, and respawned traps no longer grant XP.
-Personality bonus to Spirit Resistance is now +2 per point instead of +5 per point.


Bugfixes

-Stability improvements.
-fixed some script failures in devices with turkish language (Where is Giles quest, and others)
-fixed an incompatibility between cloud-saved games between different platforms. It could corrupt some data when NPCs were added to the party.
-detection when the player was invisible was not working correctly since last update, now the player can once more be detected when approaching enemies invisible.
-traps that respawn (like the ones in the sewers) were not meant to give XP after being deactivated once. Fixed.

Balance and Adjustments

-Skill "Explosive Traps" no longer damages your party members.
-Skill "Two Handed Expert" level 3 improved; now it adds 2.5 times your STR to damage.
-Skill "Shield Expert" now costs less skill points: from 1/2/3 to 1/1/1. If you have the skill, you'll get the points back.
-Skill "Battle Rage" now gives a bonus to armor while active.
-Some creatures that didn't drop any loot now will. (wyverns, legionnaires)
-Base chance of gossip for rumors increased, and more daily attempts per inn available.
-Improved drop chances of certain armor sets like Tolassian Chain, Legion, Velites and Blessed Plate.
-Saving and reloading will no longer be "exploitable" to get better loot or gossip chances; upon a reload you'll almost always get the same results.


Bugfixes

-Some gossip rumors about boss locations were erroneous. Fixed.
-Solved an old bug that could cause travelling merchants not showing their wares.
-Rumors about boss monsters no longer appear in your journal unless you do a successful first gossip.
-Fixed a crash that could happen when tapping on the "rumors" section of the journal.
-Fixed a crash that could happen after certain choice in quest "Honor among Thieves".
-At level up, the combat log was erroneously telling you gained more trait points than you really got. Fixed.
-Increasing your INT trait through items now correctly allows you to use scrolls with an INT requisite.
-Quest "The Restless Dead" didn't award any reputation with the Warrior's guild and gave less gold than promised; fixed, and granted retroactively if you already completed it.
-Fixed and adjusted various small UI issues.
-Fixed other rare crashes.

Content and world changes/additions

-Explore the Holy Kingdom of Ilmara including the capital Nivarian in the largest update ever! 12 new areas in total, including 5 dungeons. Content is targeted at level 9-21.
-Quests 'Shards of Fate' and 'The Prodigal Daughter' are now completable. Listen to inn rumors or talk to the quest givers for clues.
-5 new quests, all of them in the new areas. New Town Hall quests available in the new towns.
-Dozens of new items, including offhand weapons, new potions, new loot for bosses, etc. New monsters too!
-More inn rumors: get important clues for certain quests by gossiping.


Features and improvements

-Offhand weapons: they add damage and sometimes special effects to your regular attack (no extra attacks). Some basic offhand weapons have been added to weaponsmiths, better ones are available at guild merchants, or drop from monsters.
-Some rumors you learn when gossiping will now remain for a while on the 'rumors' section of your journal.


Balance and Adjustments

-Cleric Skill "Guardian wolf" has its mana cost reduced.
-Hand Weapons improved. All of them have a +1% base critical chance, others also have increased damage.
-Werewolves are now almost immune to non-silver weapons... beware!


Bugfixes

-Fixed a bug that could cause sudden big damage spikes from area effects on Hard/Ironman difficulty.
-Fixed a bug that could cause companions to stand up at 0 hp, causing some strange behavior.
-Certain glitch could cause quest "Three vs. Eleven" not being triggered. Fixed.
-Some gossip rumors about boss locations were erroneous. Fixed.
-Fixed dozens of small issues with maps and layers.
-Fixed and adjusted various small UI issues.
-Fixed other rare crashes.

Content and world changes/additions

-New areas added: 3 new outdoor sectors (Friguld and surroundings), dungeons, guildhalls in Nivarian and other interiors. Total 10 new maps with challenges usually around level 9-15 and a few higher level encounters.
-4 new completable quests, starting around the new town of Friguld, at Nivarian, or from inn rumors.
-Quest "Relics of the Mangled God" has been renamed to "The Dead God" and is now completable. For clues on how to continue it, explore the new areas.
-5 new Advanced Skills available from Nivarian trainers.
-House for sale in Nivarian.
-Vorator Eggs now have an use...


Features and improvements

-Controller support added (Android only). Movement, combat, skill usage, quick items, interact with people/containers, and looting (Take all) is supported; for handling menus or inventory you'll still need to use the touchscreen. The default configuration works with iPega controller, but you can map your own controls in the Settings menu.
-New setting to allow the "attack" button to open containers or initiate dialogues when no enemies are nearby. If you press the attack button on external controller while looting a container, you'll "Take All" and close it.
-New portraits available during player creation, by Steinert Anna-Marie (http://luxlibertatis.deviantart.com/)
-New UI settings: you can now adjust the controls' distance to screen edge.
-Clues about locations: instead of being told that certain thing is "somewhere in the wildlands" you'll get a bit more accurate information, like "northern wildlands".
-Added a warning message when you close a container leaving a quest item inside, or when it's dropped because of a full inventory.


Balance and Adjustments

-Level 25 cap removed, you can keep leveling up. But remember the game system is still designed around 20 levels, progressing above 20 will be very slow, as it's considered a "bonus".
-Cleric skill "Guardian Wolf" costs less Skill Points on the first two levels, and now has a third level.
-Quest "Lost in a Good Book"; if you defeated or helped the giants and left without talking to Sullidar, you can still talk to Arkados and complete the quest.
-Shards of Fate quest: chance of bosses to drop shards increased, and 2 more shards added at fixed locations.
-Quest "Honor Among Thieves": if you fled from Nifuruc, you can later return to fight him and complete the quest.
-New Leaderboards, the old ones had a score cap of 12000 points that was already surpassed by many players.


Bugfixes and optimizations

-Shield Expert was wrongly granting bonuses when an offhand weapon was equipped. As per description, it only works with a shield.
-Some wrong locations on Town Hall quests have been fixed.
-RAM usage has been reduced.
-When you have a 100% chance to disarm a trap, chance is now checked correctly (was a 99% internally)
-DPS calculation was wrong, showing higher than real DPS due to an error with critical damage. Fixed.
-Optimizations and minor fixes.
